قصة لغز الكوخ المحترق من القصص البوليسية الموجهة للأطفال كغيرها من القصص أخرى ... وظفت كل من بنية الفضاء والزمان والشخصيات واللغة فلا يخلو أي عمل سردي من بين هذه البنيات، وتنوعت الفضاءات في القصة بين مفتوحة ومغلقة ،وتقنية استرجاع ،واستباق، واللغة التي كانت لغة سهلة وبسيطة فساهمت في وصف الأحداث بصفة دقيقة .
