إن القفزة النوعية التي شهدتها ولاية وادي سوف في المجال الفلاحي جعلها إقليما رائدا ومميزا في الإنتاج الزراعي وبالأخص الزراعات ذات الاستهلاك الواسع المحلي، الوطني والدولي كذلك. وبالرغم من تقليص حجم الإقليم المساحي بعد تحديث أقاليم أخرى مجاورة لها كإقليم وادي ريغ، إلا أنها ما زالت تتصدر الريادة في العديد من المزروعات ذات الاستهلاك الواسع، حيث حققت مستويات معتبرة من الاكتفاء الذاتي، وبالخصوص المنتجات ذات الاستعمال اليومي مثل: البطاطس، الطماطم، الخضروات الأخرى الحقلية والموسمية، وهذا من خلال نتائج الدراسة التي بينت النسب المحققة من هذه المنتجات التي احتوتها البيئة السلة الغذائية بإقليم وادي سوف والتي صارت سلة غذائية محلية ووطنية.Development The qualitative leap of "Oued Souf" quality in the agricultural field has made it a pioneering and distinctive territory in agricultural production, particularly agriculture with wide domestic, national and international consumption as well, Although the area has been downsized following the modernization of other neighbouring territories such as "Oued Rig" Region, it continues to lead in many large-scale consumption plants, achieving significant levels of self-sufficiency, especially products with daily use such as potatoes, tomatoes and other field and seasonal vegetables.
