دافعية أولياء الأمور لمساعدة أولادهم في أداء الواجبات البيتية وعلاقتها بدافعية الأولاد لأدائها Parents' Motivation to Help Their Children in Performing Homework and its Relationship to Children's Motivation towards Performing the Homework

Abstract

هدفت الدراسة التعرف على دافعية أولياء الأمور لمساعدة أولادهم في أداء الواجبات البيتية وعلاقتها بدافعية الأولاد نحو أدائها، وقد استُخْدِم المنهج الوصفي، وتم بناء استبانتين لقياس: دافعية الطلبة لأداء الواجبات البيتية، ودافعية أولياء الأمور نحو مساعدة أولادهم في أداء الواجبات البيتية. وقد تم تطبيق الأداتين على عينة مكونة من (174) طالبة مقيدة في الصف الخامس وأولياء أمورهن في محافظة مسقط بسلطنة عمان. بينت النتائج أن لدى أفراد العينة مستوى مرتفع من الدافعية الداخلية، ومستوى متوسط من الدافعية الخارجية في أداء الواجبات البيتية، كما أشارت النتائج وجود فروق دالة احصائياً بين الطالبات في الدافعية نحو أداء الواجبات البيتية تعزى إلى المستوى التحصيلي، ومستوى دخل الأسرة، ومستوى تعليم ولي الأمر، بينما لا توجد فروق دالة احصائياً بين أولياء الأمور في الدافعية لمساعدة أولادهم في أداء الواجبات البيتية، وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة موجبة متوسطة بين دافعية الطالبات نحو أداء الواجبات البيتية ودافعية أولياء الأمور. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى توجيه إدارة المدرسة عمل برامج موجهة لزيادة دافعية الطلبة لأداء الواجبات البيتية وتوعية أولياء الأمور بأهمية مشاركة أولادهم في أداء الواجبات البيتية. The study aimed to identify the motivation of parents to help their children in performing homework and its relationship to the motivation of children towards performing the homework. A descriptive method was used and that two questionnaires were developed to measure: students' motivation to perform homework, and parents' motivation to help their children in performing homework. The questionnaires were administered to a sample of (174) female students enrolled in the 5th grade and their parents in Muscat Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. Results showed that the respondents had a high level of intrinsic motivation and an average level of extrinsic motivation in the performance of homework. In addition, the results showed significant differences between students in the motivation to perform the homework due to the level of achievement, level of family income, and level of parent’s education. However, there were no significant differences between parents in the motivation to help their children perform homework. The results also showed that there was a moderate positive relationship between the motivation of students towards performing homework and the motivation of parents to help their children to perform homework. The study concluded that the school administration should implement programs to increase students' motivation to perform homework and educate parents about the importance of their children's participation in the performance of homework.
