The use and establishment of multilayer satellite constellations is a top-level strategic plan to enhance the performance of the satellite communication network by reducing signal latency and enhancing efficiency in communication. The concept originates in the employment of satellites in different orbits (Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO)and Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO)) in order to offer total and stable coverage, with the aim of utilizing the latest technologies such as space optical links (FSO) as well as dynamic routing algorithms. These types of systems are subjected to advanced technical problems such as the impact of on-orbit perturbations, addition and subtraction of jitter, power constraints and bottlenecks that require the development of good-accurate mathematical models as well as deployable solutions such as network partitioning, power optimization, and dynamic prediction of satellite positions. Experimental results have confirmed that application of such methodologies leads to higher quality transmission and reduced latency up to 35% compared to traditional system, which enhances the performance of space networks in the low-latency and high-capacity demands of future times. This research is an important milestone toward the creation of more efficient and reliable space communication systems to cope with the requirements of advanced future applications that call for low latency and high-quality transmission.en_US
