This thesis explores the evolution of gas leak detection systems with a focus on modern prevention technologies in homes and gas-powered vehicles. Chapter one reviews the shift from mechanical methods to IoT-based systems, analyzing sensor types and operation. Chapter two presents a smart home solution using Arduino and the MQ-2 sensor, addressing technical challenges. Chapter three introduces a vehicle safety system using the MQ-6 sensor and an electric valve, detailing its architecture and programming. The study underscores the role of IoT and smart sensors in enhancing safety through a combined analytical and practical approach.en_US
