Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أصول النحو عند ابن قيم الجوزية من خلال مؤلفاته، بالنظر إلى مكانته العلمية ورسوخه في علوم العربية، وتميّز اختياراته القائمة على صحة الدليل، وإحكام الاستدلال، ودقة تنزيل القواعد على مستواها التطبيقي، ولا سيما في المسائل النحوية. وقد سعت الدراسة إلى جمع القضايا الأصولية النحوية المبثوثة في تراث ابن القيم، واستقراء منهجه فيها، مع إبراز جهوده في التأصيل والتحرير والترجيح، وتصحيح المفاهيم وضبط المصطلحات النحوية، والبحث في مدى تفرّده ببعض المسائل الأصولية. وكشفت النتائج عن وضوح الأثر الأصولي والفقهي في بناء ابن القيم للنظرية النحوية، واعتماده منهجًا استدلاليًا متدرجًا يبدأ بالقرآن الكريم، ثم الحديث النبوي، فالشعر واللغة وأقوال العرب، وفق ترتيب يُقدّم النص الشرعي على غيره، مع مراعاة المقاصد والملاءمة السياقية عند توجيه الشواهد. كما تبيّن أنه، وإن استأنس في بعض المواضع بمصطلحات المناطقة كالعرض والجوهر، إلا أنه قصر ذلك على المسائل التي لا تتصل بالأحكام التعبدية أو الأصول العقدية، محافظةً منه على نقاء الاحتجاج اللغوي في مجاله الأصلي. وقد أسهمت الدراسة في إبراز معالم التصوّر الأصولي النحوي عند ابن القيم، وكشف موقعه ضمن المدرسة اللغوية التي وصلَت بين الدرس النحوي وأصول الاستدلال الشرعي، بما يجعل جهوده حلقة علمية مهمّة تستحق مزيدًا من البحث والتتبع في ضوء تكامل العلوم الشرعية واللغوية.

Cette étude a pour objectif de mettre en évidence les fondements de la grammaire chez Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya à travers l’analyse de ses œuvres, en considérant sa stature scientifique éminente et sa profonde maîtrise des sciences de la langue arabe. Elle se distingue par la rigueur de ses choix fondés sur la validité de la preuve, la solidité du raisonnement et la précision dans l’application pratique des règles, en particulier dans les questions grammaticales. L’étude s’attache à recenser les problématiques grammaticales fondamentales disséminées dans l’héritage d’Ibn al-Qayyim, à examiner sa méthodologie d’analyse, et à mettre en lumière ses efforts en matière de fondation théorique, de clarification conceptuelle, d’évaluation critique des opinions, ainsi que de rectification des notions et de normalisation des terminologies grammaticales. Elle cherche également à déterminer dans quelle mesure Ibn al-Qayyim a fait preuve d’originalité sur certaines questions de principe. Les résultats révèlent une influence manifeste des fondements méthodologiques et juridiques dans la construction, par Ibn al-Qayyim, de sa théorie grammaticale. Il adopte une démarche déductive et hiérarchisée, qui commence par le Coran, se poursuit par la Sunnah, puis s’appuie sur la poésie, la langue et les propos des Arabes, suivant un ordre qui confère la primauté au texte religieux. Cette démarche prend en considération les finalités et la pertinence contextuelle lors de l’interprétation des exemples linguistiques. Bien qu’il fasse parfois appel à des notions issues de la logique, telles que la substance et l’accident, il en restreint l’usage aux questions étrangères aux prescriptions cultuelles ou aux fondements dogmatiques, préservant ainsi la pureté de l’argumentation linguistique dans son champ propre. Cette recherche met en relief les caractéristiques de la pensée grammaticale fondée sur les principes méthodologiques chez Ibn al-Qayyim et situe son œuvre au sein de la tradition linguistique qui relie l’analyse grammaticale aux fondements de l’argumentation juridique. Elle met en évidence l’importance de ses contributions comme maillon essentiel d’un savoir intégré entre les sciences religieuses et linguistiques, méritant de futures études et approfondissements.

This study aims to explore the foundational principles of Arabic grammar (Uṣūl al-Naḥw) in the works of Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, in light of his distinguished scholarly status, his mastery of the Arabic sciences, and his methodological approach based on authentic evidence, sound reasoning, and precise application of linguistic rules—particularly within the field of syntax. The research seeks to collect and systematize the grammatical principles dispersed throughout Ibn al-Qayyim’s writings, to examine his methodological framework, and to highlight his contributions in establishing, refining, and weighing grammatical opinions, as well as his efforts in defining and clarifying technical terms and concepts. It also investigates the extent to which he introduced original perspectives within the discipline. The study reveals a clear influence of legal theory (uṣūl al-fiqh) on Ibn al-Qayyim’s grammatical methodology, as he adopts a hierarchical approach to evidence, beginning with the Qur’an, followed by the Sunnah, and then poetry, linguistic usage, and the statements of the Arabs—prioritizing scriptural texts while maintaining contextual coherence and meaningful semantic alignment. Although he occasionally employs terminology derived from logic, such as “substance” and “accident,” he confines such usage to areas unconnected with devotional rulings or theological principles, thereby preserving the authenticity and purity of linguistic proof within its proper domain. This research demonstrates that Ibn al-Qayyim presents a distinctive and integrated vision of grammatical theory, linking linguistic inquiry with principles of scriptural interpretation. His contributions enrich the study of Uṣūl al-Naḥw and position him as a significant figure whose methodology merits further academic investigation, particularly in light of the deep interrelationship between linguistic and legal sciences in classical scholarship.
