The contribution of the agricultural sector to the Algerian economy, an econometric study during the period (1990-2020)

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent of the contribution of the growth of the Algerian agricultural sector represented by the growth rate of added value and total intermediate consumption, by relying on statistical tools. The value added is the total intermediate consumption and the value of agricultural production, and then the autoregressive ray model was used. Accordingly, the results concluded that there is an inverse relationship between the growth rate of value added, the total intermediate consumption and the value of agricultural production.
