This study aims to analyse the reality of economic diversification in Algeria during the period 2000-2020 and to clarify the repercussions of development programs and policies on the real economic sectors of the national economy, as well as to show the extent of their ability to diversify the national income portfolio outside the oil sector and achieve a balance between the various economic sectors. The results of the study showed that the Algerian economy is still almost entirely dependent on oil revenues, and that development programs have not shown their strength in achieving a clear impact in diversifying the national economy.en_US
