| dc.description.abstract | Green hydrogen is emerging as a sustainable and reliable energy source driven by international technological advancements and geopolitical developments. The world, including European countries, are stirving to neutralize carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel consumption, which encourages the use of renewable energy sources, with green hydrogen becominga key component of European energy policy. Using a descriptive approach based on official data on Algeria's overall renewable energy potential, we found that Algeria possesses significant natural and human resources that will enable it, could soon enable the country, through partnerships with major European companies, to produce and export green hydrogen to European countries via direct and secure connections. This will provide it with additional sources of income and establish it as a reliable energy partner | en_US |
