| dc.description.abstract | This study examines the influence of political parties on public policy-making in Algeria, analyzing the dialectic between institutional effectiveness and structural constraints. Using a qualitative approach, it explores the interactions between party actors and sovereign decision-making bodies. The findings support the hypothesis that despite their formal status parties exert limited actual influence due to centralized decision-making, eroded autonomy and administrative dominance. The study reveals a significant gap between the theoretical roles of parties and their practical involvement in "policy-making." It concludes by emphasizing the need for fundamental institutional reforms to revitalize political parties as pillars of participatory governance and effective national policy outcomes | en_US |
