This study aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence systems in improving internal and external auditing in light of rapid digital transformation and increasing financial data complexity. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical method and interviews with 12 internal and external auditors and accounting professionals. The findings show that artificial intelligence significantly contributes to improving audit planning، execution، and reporting quality by enabling fast and accurate data analysis، detecting errors and risks، and supporting professional judgment without replacing the auditor’s role. The study also identified key challenges such as lack of expertise، weak infrastructure، and high costs. In conclusion، artificial intelligence represents a promising tool for the future development of auditing، provided that proper training and regulatory support are ensured while maintaining the auditor’s professional judgment.-
