The study aimed to identify the psychological profile of fibromyalgia patients using the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory 2 (MMPI-2). It emphasized that fibromyalgia is not only a chronic physical disorder but also a complex condition involving psychological, emotional, and social factors, particularly anxiety, somatization, and excessive health concerns. Methods: A clinical case study approach was adopted. The participant was a 65 year old woman suffering from fibromyalgia for many years. Data were collected through clinical observation, semi structured interviews, and the MMPI-2 test to explore the patients psychological profile. Results: The findings revealed a psychological profile characterized by somatization, anxiety, tension, and excessive preoccupation with physical symptoms. The patient also demonstrated difficulties in emotional regulation and psychological adjustment to chronic illness, in addition to emotional exhaustion and social withdrawal. Discussion: The study concluded that fibromyalgia should not be viewed solely as a physical disorder, but rather as a psychosomatic condition involving the interaction between mind and body. The research highlighted the importance of integrating psychological support with medical treatment through a multidisciplinary approach to improve patients quality of life and psychological adjustment.en_US
