Etude du comportement de la menthe poivrée Mentha pipérita L sous palmeraies dans la région de Ouargla

Abstract

Pour l’étude des conditions propices au bon développement de la menthe poivrée sous les palmeraies dans la région de Ouargla , nous avons choisis deux stations ,une station située dans l’institut technique de développement de l’agronomie saharienne ITDAS,et une autre localisée dans la commune de Ain Beida ( Chott ) dans l’exploitation traditionnelle de Limmam

Après un suivit d’une année d’expérimentation , nous remarquons que Le comportement des populations de la menthe poivrée est meilleur dans la stations de Hassi Ben Abdallah ou les caractères morphologiques et agronomiques présentent une grande hétérogénéité. Les résultats de la station de Limmam montrent une certaine homogénéité entre les populations et une faible caractérisation par certains caractères agronomiques, la menthe poivrée réagit différemment vis avis des conditions du milieu à savoir :la salinité du sol ,des eau d’irrigations ,et le microclimat . A travers les résultats obtenus dans les deux stations ,il semble que la salinité du sol et la qualité de l’eau d’irrigation présentent un effet négatif sur la culture de la menthe poivrée.

For the study of the conditions favorable with the good development of the peppermint under the palm plantations in the area of Ouargla, we chose two stations (a station located in the technical institute of development of Saharan agronomy ITDAS, and another localised in the commune of Ain Beida (Chott) in the traditional exploitation of Limmam. After one followed one year of expérimentation, we notice that the behavior of the populations of peppermint is better in the stations of Hassi Ben Abdallah or the morphological and agronomic characters have a great heterogeneity. The results of the station of Limmam show a certain homogeneity between the populations and a weak characterization by certain agronomic characters, peppermint differently reacts screw opinion of the conditions of the medium to know: the salinity of the ground, the water of irrigations, and the microclimates. Through the results obtained in the two stations, it seems that the salinity of the ground and the quality of the water of irrigation present a negative effect on the culture of peppermint
