dc.description.abstractThe study of situation about the aviculture (egg chickens) in Souf region depends on the analyses of the economic and technical measures of these works hops. These analyses help us to diagnose the technical performance of those farmers; in comparison with those that are registered in the technical institution of farm animals, the weakness appears clearly in the long period of the production (392 days ) and the high death rate (11,78%) among the chickens and the growth of the consumer index (3,19). In addition, what emphasizes this weakness is the in creasy cost of production (5,58AD/egg). However, the high selling price of both the chickens and their remains alones farmers to realize a such proportion of gain (0,94 AD/egg) and the ratio of profitability (16,61%), that encourages then to continue their work in this field-
