dc.description.abstractThis piece of research is entitled “Speaking English as a prominent skill in business field”. It consists of three chapters, the first chapter is speaking skill, the second is labeled speaking and communicating in business English and the third one is a practical part which is designed to measure the necessity and importance of spoken English in business context. To do so, we have adapted the questionnaire as an appropriate instrument to collect information. Our experiment took place in “British Petroleum” company (bp) in Hassi Massaoud (Ouargla). We have randomly chosen a group of twenty employees to be our sample. The conclusion which is drawn after the data analysis and interpretation is that speaking English is very necessary in business area.en_US
