This study is carried out in the region of Ouargla , which is located 800 km south of Algiers (31 ° 58 'N , 5 ° 20' E. ) . This region belongs to the bioclimatic Saharan mild winters ( 2003-2014 ) . In the latter region, three sites are selected at the station Bamendil . Our job is to conduct a study on the importance of Orthoptera in the insect fauna of the region of Ouargla and thanks to the use of four sampling methods ( Pots Barber quadart Orthoptera , sweep net and yellow traps ), during a period of 10 months from July 2013 until April 2014. Through pots Barber, 1112 individuals surveyed arthropods are divided into 4 classes ( Arachnida , Crustacae , Entogntha and Insecta ), 14 orders, 54 families and 102 species. The Insecta are the most identified at site 1 (Ni = 336 indivudus ) at site 2 ( 344 individuals) , and site 3 (Ni = 362 indivudus ) . The order Orthoptera ranks third in the three study with 99 individuals sites. The orthoptérologique inventory conducted by the four trapping methods reveals the existence of 24 species of Orthoptera , 5 and 19 Ensifera grasshopper . The highest total wealth is noted for methods quadrats (S = 21 species). The Platypterna gracilis species is most abundant for the method pots Barber ( AR % = 23,2% ) quadrat (AR % = 63,7 %) and mowing (AR % = 77,6 %), as against Acrida turrita (AR % = 56,8% ) is the most captured through yellow traps .
