dc.description.abstractThis study is an analytical approach for the profiling phenomena in the narrative texts. It focuses on the “polygamy of characters’ names” in Leila Sebbar’s novel “Le Fou de shérazade” in which she used the name of Shérazade that has a lot of meaning in the reader’s mind. The fundamental problematic of this study is the following: How much those perceptions agree with invoked names of personal reader when the structure of the personal narrative drawn from identifying characteristics and the narrative way within narrative text. It becomes clear that names have a strong ability in invoking the stereotyped perceptions which can confirm through using common ideas and representations in drawing the persons’ levels throughout identifying their names, characteristics and the narrative way within the narrative text.en_US
