The production of fresh water finds all its justification in the Sahara. Most of the water is brackish and unfit for human consumption. This water is characterized by a salinity which exceeds 1.5 g/l. According (OMS) standards, salinity must be lower or equal to 0.5 g/l. With small scale, the distillation of water by solar distillation is possible. Several types of distillers were realized and most widespread are solar still and capillary film. This paper presents numerical simulation and experimentation work on a simple stage distiller with a capillary film, the so called (DIFICAP). The validation of the results of simulation per way experimental is very encouraging; one could obtain meadows of 2.5 water l/m² distilled per day.en_US
