dc.description.abstract | To study the radiation emitted by plasmas in the plasma torches for welding, we have proposed a numerical model to calculate the profiles of the intensities integrated on the various lines of sight. We have calculated the local profile by using the function of Voigt and by introducing the various causes of widths and shifts. The transformation of the local values into the integrated values and the opposite are possible with the technique of the Abel inversion which we used and solved the integral by a numerical method. We found that the use of this technique in the case of the lines of ArI (696, 54 nm and 706, 72nm) is essential while in the case of the lines of hydrogen (3p-2s) 656,272nm and (3d-2p) 656,285 nm it is not necessary for the considered conditions.
