dc.description.abstractEssential oils of Marrubium deserti, obtained by hydrodistillation, have been analyzed by GC-MS. The analysis were resulted in the determination of 33 components representing 80,53% of the oil and belonging essentially to the class of sesquiterpenes. The major constituents of the oil were 9-methyl-undecene (21,30%), b-cadinene (12,20%) and germacrène D (11,90%). Such particular composition is reported for the first time within the Marrubium species.en_US
