The unreasoned exploitation and the bad stock management of water resources mobilized in the Saharan areas knew a certain evolution during the last decade, but disappointing results were recorded. All this, in spite of the orientations of the national policy inherent to the development of the Saharan agronomy option. They insist on the need for developing the Saharan agricultural activity by the development of new grounds in these areas. They also stress a rigorous exploitation and a rational management of the Saharan natural resources. This step must give priority to the installation of the best conditions technical, economic, social and ecological of the programs in use This work aims at determining the main constraints posed on the plane of the natural resources, mainly water resources, via the different exploitation and management modes and estimate their impact on the level of agricultural development on Saharan areas. All of this is done within a perspective of valorization and durable development of theses resources, thanks to adequate management techniques for a real development of the Saharan agriculture.en_US
