DETERMINATION DE L’EVAPORATION DES SURFACES DES PLANS D’EAU POUR LES CONDITIONS CLIMATIQUES DE L’ALGERIE

Abstract

The evaporation from water plans in Algeria remains mostly absent in bulletins and atlas of climatology, published annually by the national office of the meteorology. Due to lack of data, its determination is based on a summary analysis of some meteorological elements (sunstroke, temperature etc.), which remains generally an unrefined evaluation, and missing of precision. In hydrology, evaporation presents an obvious practical interest, because it is responsible for losses of water volumes (of dams and of lakes etc.), sometimes considerable. In this study, we propose the application of a methodology of evaporation calculation by formulas which relate this evaporation to the meteorological elements.
