Abstract: The Algerian Sahara covers an area of more than two millions square kilometers stretching from the Saharan Atlas and the Aures to the borders of Mali, Niger and Libya. Between the northern border of the Hoggar and the southern edge of the Saharan Atlas lies the great Sahara sedimentary basin bottom. From West to East, it extends from the edge of the Great Western Erg until after the Libyan border. Daïa M'rara in eastern daïas plateau lies at an altitude of about 100 m in a basin filled with Plio-Quaternary. This bowl is a point of break in slope at which the alluvium transported by river R'tem through M’rara accumulate since probably the late Pliocene, However, the sedimentary fill of Daia has only one calcareous crust, this is a second generation daïas.
