dc.description.abstract | In the enhancement of the waste sludge wastewater treatment of wastewater of Touggourt, we applied increasing doses on a sandy soil grown watermelon. The results obtained show a highly significant correlation between the level of organic amendment and productivity: the best performance is obtained with an intake of 25 tonnes of sludge/hectare. Moreover, applied sludge improved the rate of organic matter and therefore the rate in humus, element that attaches the fertility and life of a soil which resulted in essentially by the increase of the cation exchange capacity from 15.4 to 21.5 mEq/100 g and water holding capacity from 16,07 to 20,49%. Finally, heavy metals. in the light of their concentrations in sludge used and the plant and soil with traces, then could not constitute a danger to the agricultural activity in the short and medium term. | en_US |
