Abstract: This study shows that the Saharan rangelands, estimated at 28 million hectares are under the influence of multiple constraints including of a man, where in the region of Ghardaia, the system of ranching has declined because of the changing lifestyle of farmers. The field investigations show respectively 25% of farmers are true nomads, only 15% are sedentary and mostly (60%) are semi-nomadic. Ore over, the mode of operation of space travel shows that 60% of farmers over-exploit the corollary of an overload caused by overgrazing and degradation there. While the extension of agricultural land has led to a subtraction space travel. In other words, a culture system is pressed on pastoral land. The latter increased from 21,742 ha in 2006 to 26,436 ha in 2007, a decrease of about 4694 ha. Faced with this alarming situation and to the fragility of the Sahara, we assume that the space Saharan pastoral challenges us through proper management and rational management in a sustainable way. o get a Schematic Development and Management Area (SAGE) practical and feasible would be highly recommended.
