Abstract: The araniological composition in the region of Ouargla remains highly ill-known with regarding because of the absence of works. This study was carried out in four orchards of date palms in two palm groves located at the basin of Ouargla (Northeastern Algeria) from November 2010 to July 2011. Spiders were sampled regularly (10 days between each two sampling periods) using three methods: pitfall trapping, sweeping and direct hunting. The entire sample consists of a set of 1,9 05spiders, to give 61 species belonging to 1 8families. Gnaphosidae is most represented family, 14 species were recorded in five genera, followed by Lyniphiidae and Thomisidae with seven species for each family.
