Abstract: During the experimental period of 2008/2009, we were able to identify 26 wild Babbler nests in the region of Souf. This species builds its nests in different formats found in their habitat. In the study area, this species prefers the date palm and olive with a number of 9 nests for each support a rate of 69.2 % of total nests identified. Orange with a number of nests 4 is second (15.4%). It was identified a single nest on Acacia (Acacia sp.), Phoenician juniper (Juniperus phoenicea), pomegranate (Punica granatum) and grapes (Vitis vinifera) Rate is 3.85% for each substrate. Regarding the direction of the nests, it should be noted that the Babbler fawn avoids the North because of prevailing winds. Nests are located in places where vegetation is dense, this site makes access and even the vision of the nest which is a difficult sort of security by preventing the penetration of predators. You can also find several nests in the same medium. The heights of the nests were recorded between 90 cm and 250 cm. The number of eggs is 3 to 4 eggs / nest. The egg is blue with a green egg-shaped. The incubation lasts 15 days, with the same duration for the period of feeding
