dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at revealing the effect of using learning teaching strategy based on social interaction through cooperative learning in developing verbal communication skills of sixth grade students in Jordan. To achieve this objective, Learning teaching strategy was developed and applied on a sample of the study , which consisted of 112 students ( 56 male and 56 female ). These students were divided into two groups, One group was considered as an experimental group taught by suggested strategy; the other was considered as a controlled group taught without suggested strategy. After completing the study application , A verbal communication skills test in mathematics and a 2-way ANOVA were applied and used to answer the study questions . The study results revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in favor of the experimental group. Meanwhile, there were no significant differences due to the interaction between groups and sexen_US
