dc.description.abstractAlgeria has been witnessed a modernization process of nation state building during the years of 60s and 70s, therefore, Algerian leaders have been chosen a particular choices for economics, political and administrative institutions. Algerian leaders have established also a particular orientation regarding the public policy’s implications to the whole nation. In the aftermath of Algerian political reforms in the late of 80s, the political science similarly has seen the emergence of new historical institutionalism theory as dominant theory. Although, according to institutionalists the “National trajectories” represents a key element to modernize nations. Therefore the notion of “National trajectories” refers to the ultimate importance of modernization departure points, and how to track modernizations steps, this notion lightened also the different tools of value accumulation of the taken options and their late effects on the current public making process, especially when these options become significant constrains to development process. Thus, the aim of this paper is to clarify the notion of“National trajectories” and explore its implication on the Algerian reforms experience.en_US
