Abstract

Iraqi art, as a form of human activity for various reasons and in several changing types, is a reflection of a nation’s culture in a wider spectrum of civilization. In the field of plastic arts, more specifically in the art of painting, environment is a key driving force of stylistic transformations of this art resulting in the formation of several art styles in the world that vary between them in aesthetics, content, techniques and production. Iraqi art in Diaspora had its considerable share of transformations, influenced and interacting with cultural entities of the societies of the host countries
