Abstract: this study aims to test the hypothesis of the emergence of an influence and influenced relationship between the spread of corruption and achieving sustainable development in developing economies, by identifying the ways to successfully development plans drawn by analyzing the relationship between corruption on the one hand and a sample of indicators used to measure the economic and social dimensions of sustainable development on the other hand, was among these indicators: welfare, poverty, health care, human development and also the access to electricity connectivity . The study found an association closely linked between the spread of corruption and sustainable development was that corruption is a major impediment in order to achieve sustainable development in developing economies, and that because of its adverse effect on the growth of indicators adopted to assess progress in achieving development plans drawn . On this basis, a number of experiences and solutions have been proposed to help get out of the cycle of corruption and pursue a path of sustainable development like the adoption of the Islamic perspective to defeat corruption.
