PARAMÈTRES ÉCOLOGIQUES DES RONGEURS RECENSÉS DANS UN MILIEU SEMI ARIDE À DJELFA (ALGÉRIE)

Abstract

Trapping conducted in farmland area at Taâdmit from the July 9, 2009 until March 9, 2010 totaled 925 nights traps. This trap has captured 80 individuals. The total number of species recorded was 8 species which are divided between two families, Muridae with that of two subfamilies and of Dipodidae. The subfamily Gerbillinae is best represented, comprising the genus Gerbillus with species Gerbillus campestris, Gerbillus nanus (4; 5%) and Gerbillus gerbillus (8.8%). The genus Meriones is represented by one species Meriones shawii which best represented among all the species recorded with 55 individuals (68.8 %). While the Murinae are represented by Mus musculus (6.3%) and Mus spretus (5%). The family of Dipodidae is represented by Jaculus orientalis (4%).
