Abstract: The study aims to investigate the nature of the Attitudes towardsthe environment in the light of some of the variables among a sample consisted of (117) male and female pupils at the secondary school stage, and to collect information used the scale of attitudes towards the environment which was designed by Hassan (2004) , and after the statistical analysis of the results. The latter showed the following: -The secondary school pupils have a negative Attitudes towardsthe environment. -There are no differences between the Attitudes towardsthe environment among the secondary school pupils depending on sex variable. -There are no differences between the Attitudes towardsthe environment among the secondary school pupils depending on the specialty variable. -There are no differences between the Attitudes towardsthe environment among the secondary school pupils depending on the place of residence variable. -There are differences between the Attitudes towardsthe environment among the secondary school pupils depending on the educational level head of the household variable. -There are no differences between the Attitudes towardsthe environment among the secondary school pupils depending on the profession of the head of household variable . The results were interpreted in light of the out come of the psychological heritage and previous studies, and Finally the study was culminated in a set of recommendations and proposals.
