Abstract

This study aims to study the functioning of the date's sector in the top Oued Righ region (Touggourt) and enter the main constraints that support the main players. It is for us to study first the sphere of production through surveys at the phoenicicoles farms and various players in the sector. This study also aims to analyze the storage circuit, packaging and sale dates. This study allowed us to identify the main constraints of the date's sector that hamper its efficiency: it is primarily at the farm level: water deficit, the malfunction of the drainage system and the proliferation of weeds.
