Abstract

In this paper we tried to study the Language sounds or ( Arabic language sounds) by Iben el Djeni Discussing first his method in dividing the Language sounds , second how did he classify it,besides mentioning its charactersitics. As we exposed some important issues having relation with sounds such as the position of the voiced and the voiceless sound , short and long , starting by an introduction to the concept and the difference beteween the silent and the vocal( acoustic) sound. ( vowels and consonant )
