Researches of quality of life did not take sufficient attention, till at the beginning of this century with the emergence of positive psychology, which had an effect in the way of understanding and identifying any variable attached to the quality of human life. This article provides concise definitions including that of the World Health Organization definition and some Arab researchers, and then illustrates theories related to the quality of life. Then it addresses to the Arab studies that dealt with the term “quality of life” and its relationship with some psychological and demographic variables through describing the title of the study, its aims, and its achieved results. However, It is not covering all of the studies and references, but only a sample of researches followed by some analysis. This article concluded with the point that the research did not include the entire Arab world, but it was limited to some countries like Oman, Egypt, Algeria, also research has not covered all community layers
