dc.description.abstractContent based image retrieval from a large resources has become an area of wide interest nowadays In many applications ,meanwhile touch screen devices and what they offer as options and tools facilitate the drawing and image editing process. In this master dissertation we try to exploit touch screen devices and what they offer to facilitate a formulation of query in content based image retrieval. Our study of queries formulation show us that the user produced pictorial example is the best way to solve the problem of page zero. Our work is building of drawing and image editing application ―Query Maker‖ And use it as a part of CBIR engine. Query Maker is an android application developed with JAVA in Eclipse IDE.
