Steinbeck’s Realistic Portrayal of Working Class People in The Grapes of Wrath

Abstract

This study attempt to investigate the style of John Steinbeck in The Grapes of Wrath he used a realistic style by depicting the story of the Okies and their journey to the west they escaped from the bad reality and the greed of capitalists who oblige them to leave their land and they seduce them that there are a lot of work opportunities in California, Steinbeck through his novels portray how the journey of Joads and the other immigrants in a interesting way ; he makes the reader live with the progress of the events in the novel and interact with the carachters development throughout the story .L’objectif de ce travail c'est démontrer le vrais style du roman " les Raisinés du Colère" de l'écrivain américain John Steinbeck , ou il parle d'une histoire véridique d'une famille qui s'appelle Joud et qui souffre des immigrés habitant de Oklahoma , mais a cause de la crise économique et les catastrophes naturelles ils étaient expulsés de leurs terrains , ils cherchaient du travail en dehors de la wilaya à Californie , désormais les choses avaient été de plus en plus difficile est compliqué.
