Abstract: The present study aims to identify the differences in thinking methods in the light of Sternberg's theory of first year students at Ammar Thaliji University in Laghouat. It also seeks to identify gender differences in thinking methods and identify the most common methods among students. The results were as follows: - The most common methods among students are (legislative, external, hierarchical, universal, etc.) Liberator).
