Abstract: planet due to the demographic growth and the great technological progress causing damages to the environment. Water, or the bleu Gold, is a major problem for all the globe. This is why it is necessary to preserve it at all cost: reducing waste, reusing used water and introducing them in specific recycling techniques. The reusing of used water is very commonly practiced, particularly by the countries with scarce water resources. The Mediterranean basin is one of the regions of the world where the urban sewage recycling is practiced. In this paper, with an object to contribute the issue of hydric pollution on the environment, we will try to shed light on the aspect of the management of drain waters in the region of Touggourt in a number of steps. To achieve our goal, we have opted for a site, namely. The used water treatment station of Touggourt (STEP Touggourt). The physico-chemical analyses carried out in the station laboratory aim at controling the water quality in and out of the treatment station, i.e, before and after treatment. Some parameters have been measured to determine the biological and chemical properties of the water, mainly: *(DBO5)1, (DCO)2, (MES)3, and other microbiological analyses
