Abstract: The Natural fractures have a huge impact within a reservoir. Indeed, whether they are conductors or barriers, they generally control the flows as well as the storage capacities of the reservoirs. This project concerns the analysis of fractures and their impact on the petrophysical property of the GARET EL GUEFOUL gas deposit reservoir. The proposed methodologies successively address the stages of this analysis, namely 1. Characterization of fractures from structural data and seismic data: sonic and electrical imagery data to determine structural indicators of fracturing, particularly their intensities and orientations. 2. Determination of the impact of fracturing on porosity and permeability based on the results of analysis of imagery data and correlation of core and log data.
