The Influence of Magical Elements in Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on Children's Imagination and Creativity

Abstract

Harry Potter has sparked popular interest in children's literature. J.K. Rowling's world of wizardry is filled with wonderful symbols that attract readers of all ages and once you enter it, you do not want to leave. In addition, the effect of the magic in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on the mind and imagination of the young readers is presented by the fact that in the book the reader is always following Harry in the adventure world. Thus ,the present study aims to know the motives behind Harry Potter collection popularity among kids. Therefore, this research work is descriptive and analytic in which we analyse symbols that represent magic such as : the Quidditch game, the Sorting Hat, Harry’s scar and the Mirror of Erised and characterization like Harry Potter and Hermione Granger at the level of the first book entitled Harry Potter and the Philosophers ’Stone .This adds layers to the narration and make it more profound.

Harry Potter a gagné une immense popularité dans le monde de la littérature jeunesse. J.K. Le monde de la sorcellerie de Rowling est rempli de symboles merveilleux qui attirent les lecteurs de tous âges et une fois que vous y entrez, vous ne voulez plus en sortir. De plus, l’effet de la magie de Harry Potter, la pierre philosophale sur l’esprit et l’imagination des jeunes lecteurs est présenté par le fait que dans le livre, le lecteur suit toujours Harry dans le monde de l’aventure. La présente étude vise à explorer comment la magie aide les enfants à développer leurs capacités psychologiques et leur imagination et en même temps à faire connaître au monde la méthodologie d’enseignement de Poudlard, l’interaction entre les maisons et la représentation de la magie.Ce travail de recherche est donc une analyse descriptive et thématique à travers des Symboles qui représentent la magie tels que : le jeu de Quidditch, le Chapeau, la cicatrice d’Harry et le Miroir du Erisé et une caractérisation comme Harry Potter et Hermione Granger au niveau du premier livre intitulé Harry Potter and the Philosophers ‘s Stone. Cela ajoute des couches à lanarration et la rend plus profonde.

لقد أثار هاري بوتر اهتماما واسعا في أدب الأطفال .عالم السحر الذي خلقته ج.ك. رولينج مليء بالرموز الرائعة التي تجذب القراء من جميع الأعمار وبمجرد الدخول فيه ، لا يرغب القارئ بالمغادرة بالإضافة الى ذلك ، فإن تأثير السحر في " هاري بوتر وحجر الفيلسوف " على العقل و الخيال لدى القراء الصغار يظهر من خلال أن القارئ يتابع هاري دائما في عالم المغامرات. تهدف الدراسة الحالية الى استكشاف كيف يساعد السحر الاطفال على تطوير قدراتهم النفسية وخيالهم ، و في الوقت نفسه التعرف على منهجية التعليم في هوجورتس ، و التفاعل بين البيوت ، وتصوير السحر . لذلك، فإن هذا العمل البحثي وصفي وتحليل موضعي من خلال الرموز التي تمثل السحر مثل : لعبة الكويدتش ،قبعة الفرز ،ندبة هاري ، مرآة أريسد، و التوصيف مثل هاري بوتر و هيرميون جرينجر على مستوى الكتاب الأول بعنوان " هاري بوتر وحجر الفيلسوف" . هذا يضيف طبقات الى السرد ويجعله أكثر عمقا.
