The watershed of Oued Sidi Salah (Sfax, Tunisia) had a change in the agricultural landscape which has affected the dynamics of the river system and has aggravated the water erosion. This erosion appears differently in the study area. Faced to those plagues, many works of Water and soil Conservation were present. This work aims to study and analyze the existing development in the watershed by using tools of the geographic information system. After development of multi resources database using a set of softwares, different thematic maps were obtained. These allowed not only having an update of the data and making a spatial analysis of the environment, but also the ability to overlay several themes at once. An evaluation test of these works, their shape and their effectiveness has been presented and accompanied by some recommendations on actions taken and planned. This work has tried to focus on the need of having a global view of environment degradation problems throughout the watershed. This task will allow to find the right solutions and to distribute tasks according to priority areasen_US
