Abstract: The current study sought to verify the goals of detection for each level of self-efficacy and academic adjustment for middle school students, as well as the disclosure of the relationship between self-efficacy and of academic adjustment, and the extent of different of academic adjustment different sex and pupils teaching assistants and non-teaching assistants. The study has identified the problem in the following questions: 1-What is the level of self-efficacy among middle school students? 2-What is the level of academic adjustment among middle school students? 3- There is a relationship between self-efficacy and academic adjustment with middle school students. 4 - Are there significant differences in the academic degrees of academic adjustment with the middle school students due to gender pupils (male - female). 5 - Are there any statistically significant differences in the academic degrees of academic adjustment for the education pupils average depending pupils ( teaching assistants - not teaching assistants ) . The following hypotheses were formulated to treat these questions: 1- We expect to have middle school students a low level of self-efficacy 2- We expect to have a middle school pupils low level of academic adjustment 3 - There is a relationship between self - efficacy and academic adjustment with middle school students . 4 - There are significant differences in the academic degrees of academic adjustment with the middle school students due to gender pupils (male-female). 5 - There are significant differences in the academic degrees of academic adjustment with the middle school students depending on the nature of the students ( teaching assistants - not teaching assistants ) . The study sample consisted of basic (798) students and pupils were chosen at random stratified than the averages of the city of Ouargla (medium N’goussa, medium El Bour, medium Ifrane), among students who are studying the second year and the third the average, during the school year (2012/2013). Accreditation has also been in the collection of data on the following tools: • a measure of self-efficacy, which designed by Schwarzer Gerozhelam the Schwarzer & Jerusalem,1986) 1997، ( ). • academic adjustment measure of academic preparation of the student. And then was to make sure the psychometric properties of transactions through an account of validity and reliability, and to make sure their indications before applying statistical baseline study, the data was treated using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (15.0) SPSS Results as shown below 1-Level of self-efficacy among middle school students is high. 2-Level of academic adjustment among middle school students is high. 3- There is a relationship between self-efficacy and academic adjustment with middle school students. 4- There is a difference between males and females in the academic degrees of academic adjustment in favor of females. 5- There are differences in the academic degrees of academic adjustment attributed the difference to students lecturers and non-teaching assistants for the benefit of non-teaching assistants students. These results are interpreted in light of previous studies.
