Abstract: This research tackles the crisis that learning and teaching of French are suffering from in south Algeria through studying the main reasons and suggesting some solutions. The acquired results, after a field investigation in which partners of the educational system were included, revealed a negative orientation in general towards educational reform in addition to the incoherence between the social partners. As a solution, the social partners must participate in all stages of the educational reform
