Industrial wastewater contains organic compounds of different nature and varying concentrations. The discharge of such effluents into the environment is undesirable and is the cause of many contaminations of surface and ground water. Current research is therefore aimed at limiting this industrial contamination by offering simple and less expensive technologies. The objective of this work is to monitor the mean values of the hydrocarbon contents and the physico-chemical quality of the wastewater after treatment by adsorption on activated carbon, in order to evaluate the purification performances by this method. |
