dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the reality of dealing with the processes of reform and change in higher education institutions, in order to find out its impact on the performance of these institutions. To achieve this purpose we measured and compared the quantitative performance of higher education institutions, during the period from 2000 to 2015 using four quantitative indicators, we apply Data Envelopment Analysis method. However qualitative performance (Quality) was measured using quality indicators reflect academic and administrative operations, scientific research, and community service; the data collected by using questionnaire and were targeting a sample of 248 students studied classical system and LMD system. Following the analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative performance measurement results ,We noticed a variation in the Algerian higher education institutions performance before and after implementing the reform in 2004; and its performance improved after a long time of implementing reform, caused by the events group of pedagogical changes, structural, functional and technological; there is also variation in quantitative performance levels between the institution and others, but no statistically significant differences in qualitative performance levels.en_US
