Abstract

Algerian poet Omar Azrag did not hesitate to portray the state and the ruling party. Based on the technique of symbolism, as an expressive energy expressing the artistic forms imposed upon it, and its need for time, in light of the cultural, social and political transformations witnessed by Algerian reality in the seventies, eighties and nineties of the twentieth century. By depicting them as the most horrible images, and the most blatant attacks because of the oppression of the weak and the marginalization of the state, and singled out the rule, the hair of the towers appeared full of images of legendary icon, religious and heritage ... And other symbols that emanated from the experience of the poet and his sense of alienation inside and outside the homeland.
