Abstract: The exploitation of oil reservoirs is considered an important investment project that could have a great economic risk margin, if the revenue of the project wasn’t well projected keeping in mind expanses and the initial project’s capital, hence the importance of reserves estimation. The reservoir estimation is the duty of a reservoir engineer the reserves are estimated by various methods to adapt the expectation with the real reservoir model and reach an optimum estimation, but owing to this day’s technological advancements, nowadays developments in the field of reservoir engineering and the new and improved reservoir model the reservoir estimation isn’t just about volumes any more but it includes more depth and have many more implications, acknowledgements to reservoir engineers and their resourcefulnessinterpreting the field data to unveil other information and reservoir properties, in this humble effort we try to estimate the reserves of the zone 1C by three deferent methods to explore their differences and the results that could be cultivated from their practice, and their effect on the daily plans and works to improve the recovery factor.
