In the study of the Hassi Guettar peripheral zone – field of Hassi Messaoud, deferred logs have been used. The recordings logs provided us with vital information concerning the petrophyisic parameters, otherwise confirming petroleum existence in the "Open hole» drilling. We will limit ourselves to the tools which allow a quick demonstration on site of the reservoir zones, otherwise identify the lithology, the porosity, saturation and the volume of clay of these zones. The used logs are: caliper, gamma ray, resistivity, neutron, density tools, and sonic. The "Techlog 2015.3" software allows analysis and exploitation of the log data and makes the evaluation the petrophysical parameters possible - reservoir of the Hassi Messaoud field-. Our study revealed two units, the Ordovician (Quartzite Hamra) and Cambrian (Ri, Ra) noticing that units in each well (HGAW (4.5.7.8)) are productive, the study has identified the reservoir rock nature, which consists mainly of sandstone. With a scatted distribution of clay. Concerning the petrophysical parameters evaluation, porosity average varies between 4,2% to 7.3%, saturation average is weak varies between 1.6% up to 54% and the same with the clay volume 3.9% to 25.8% ( both are low but good for critical parameters), this explains the previous interpretation of conventional diagraphies within producing pay zones ( petroleum reservoirs ) that have an oil interest and from which the studied wells produced oil,en_US
